Rachel Weintraub began working as Strategic Development Consultant to HRDAG in 2018 in order to assist the organization in structuring and strengthening its major donor fundraising and board development efforts.

Rachel has been counseling nonprofit institutions and the philanthropists who fund them on issues pertaining to fundraising, board development, organizational development, and strategic planning since 2005. She works primarily in the areas of international human rights, women’s reproductive health and rights, cultural exchange, and the arts. Rachel’s expertise is in part a result of her 16-year tenure at Human Rights Watch (1988-2004).
